Nutmeg and Mace are gives different taste spice products but they come from one fruit. Nutmeg is native of Moluccas in East Indonesia. It has been reported that the plants have been introduced into Sri Lanka in the beginning of the 19th century. Nutmeg is the dry seed and it covers as a softy outer it’s called Mace.
